A: Helmets and lights are required for the Time Trail, Fun Ride and the Kids race. Lights must be bright enough to safely navigate the trails at night. All handlebars must have bar-plugs, and all equipment must be in good repair. Singlespeeds can race in any category, however to race in the singlespeed cat, your bike must only have one gear and must not be able to be changed on the course

A: The Kids race is Open to all juniors 12 and under. The course will be in an open area with very short distances. All participants will be awarded a prize. Everyone is a winner!!. There is no time limit. This is an opportunity for young riders to have fun and compete. The kids race will be held after the time trial. If a young rider would lie to ride the long loop in the time trial, GREAT! Parental permission is required

A: There is no charge for the kids race, but a donation is welcome. You must register the child on race day before 6:45 pm at registration table. "Racers" must wear helmets and have lights on their bike.

A: The TT will begin at 7:15 pm with 20 second intervals.

A: NO! However if you are competing in the Time Trial, we ask that you register online to make the event organization a little easier.

Q: Is it going to be hot?
A: Yes. It is August in Phoenix! We are going to beat the heat by having the event at night, and keeping the time trial relatively short. Ska Brewing is also providing "refreshments" to help cool off, and there will be water, sports drinks/etc available.
